Representative Hutton’s passion for criminal justice issues stems from many years of volunteering in prison ministries and seeing firsthand the challenges that inmates face. As a State Representative he has led two study committees on criminal justice reform. He has also recently served as the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Committee on Corrections in the Wisconsin State Assembly. He serves alongside other state and national leaders in the Faith and Justice Fellowship caucus. He also has lead an initiative, starting in November, to provide a baccalaureate seminary education for inmates in Wisconsin’s Prisons.
