John Malcolm is the vice president of the Institute for Constitutional Government and the Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Heritage Foundation.
A graduate of Columbia College and Harvard Law School, Mr. Malcolm worked at the U.S. Justice Department for 10 years as an assistant U.S. attorney, an associate independent counsel, and a deputy assistant attorney general in the Criminal Division. He served as executive vice president and worldwide anti-piracy director for the Motion Picture Association of America, and was a distinguished practitioner in residence at Pepperdine Law School, and general counsel at the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.
