Marc A. Levin, Esq., is the director of the Center for Effective Justice at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, the state’s free-market think tank, and policy director of its Right on Crime initiative. Right on Crime has become the national clearinghouse for conservative criminal justice reforms.
Mr. Levin has testified on criminal justice policy before Congress on four occasions and has testified before legislatures in multiple states, including Texas, Nevada, Kansas, Wisconsin, and California. He has published dozens of policy papers on criminal justice and his articles have appeared in newspapers such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Dallas Morning News. In 2007, Mr. Levin was honored in a resolution unanimously passed by the Texas House of Representatives.
