Daniel Sacks is the vice president for partnerships at Stand Together, where he oversees the team responsible for working with Stand Together’s donor partners.

Prior to Stand Together, Dan directed the major gifts programs at the Mercatus Center and the Institute for Humane Studies, where he worked with those institutions’ supporters for seven years. Dan started his career as a research associate for the Mercatus Center’s Enterprise Africa Project, conducting fieldwork in Namibia, Kenya, Malawi, and Houston. Dan graduated from McGill University with an honors degree in political science and minors in economics and psychology. Dan lives in Washington, DC with his wife Vanessa and their two young daughters.
